I CARE – Elderwood’s guiding principles are brought to life by its staff

At Elderwood our core values drive the care we provide. They are easily summed up and remembered through an appropriate acronym – I CAREIntegrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. Our dedicated nursing team offers, perhaps, the best example of how we live our core values. They lay the foundation behind every health care service provided to our patients throughout their experience with Elderwood.

Rebecca Littler, Chief Nursing Officer

“As a nursing leader, demonstrating integrity, collaboration, accountability, respect and excellence is at the core of who I am, and I look forward to passing on my knowledge to those who will come after me,” said Rebecca Littler, chief nursing officer at Elderwood Administrative Services, whose career has spanned across serving as a CNA, Unit Manager, and eventually Director of Nursing and Quality Management. Littler’s nursing career inspirations started when she was five years old. She would make regular visits to help an elderly neighbor. “I have been able to touch countless lives of patients, residents, families of those patients, other health care workers and most importantly my own family. ICARE for all those I meet, all those I lead and for all those in need.”
